Looking for a quick and easy Instant Pot recipe using all Aldi ingredients? Meet Worcestershire noodles, Hamburger Helper’s homemade sister! This is such a fast and easy Instant Pot recipe. For many Hamburger Helper may bring back memories of hard times, when you had to eat on the cheap. It may have been cheap, but it was also de-freakin-licious. I volunteer as tribute for this meal! Using the instant pot really bumps that flavor up to 10!
You will need:
- 2 lb ground beef (Aldi – $4.80)
- 1 box beef broth (Aldi – $1.35)
- 1 bottle Worcestershire sauce (Aldi – $1.05)
- 1 bag egg noodles (Aldi – $1.25)
- 1 cup of milk (Aldi – $0.12)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, minced onion to taste
- Add beef to Instant Pot. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and minced onion until the Lord tells you to stop. Set Instant Pot to sauté and brown. Drain grease.
- Return beef to pot.
- Add entire box beef broth, entire bottle Worcestershire, and entire bag of egg noodles.
- Stir so that all noodled are coated. Smash the noodles so that they are as submerged as possible. SMASH those babies. You will hear them crack.
- Pressure cook for 5 minutes. Quick release.
- Add milk and stir. Feel free to add more milk for a creamier taste.
The noodles soak up the broth and Worcestershire and the taste is STRONG! If you don’t like Worcestershire omit and replace with approximately 2 cups of water. I love to serve this meal with toast for real struggle meal authenticity! This recipe gets bonus points for being all Aldi. 😉
Until next time,
